Norway in Eurovision

As a tribute to Norway and Alexander Rybak in the semi-finals of the Eurovision today, I’m going through some of Norway’s past contribution to the Eurovision competition. We’ve got 0 – zero – points no less than four times. The one we hate the most being remembered for, which we still talk about, is when we sent one of our icons Jahn Teigen in 1978 who sang “Mil etter mil”.

Norway won Eurovision in 1995 with the song Nocturne by Secret Garden

But one of our best and most fun contribution was in 2005 with In My Dreams by Wig Wam. We ended up in sixth place

10 years ago we sent Stig Van Eijk with the song Living My Life Without You. We were sure we were going to win that year, but it went terrible. But today, ten years later, we’re back to believing we have the winner song with Fairytale by Alexander Rybak

What song in this years Eurovision is your favorite?
