Now that we know how Ubuntu Eee will be re-branded, we need help designing web-pages, wallpapers and so on.
If you have an idea for the web-page, please launch your favorite image editor and create a mockup. Design it a way that you can actually create :) Don’t waste your time on it – it’s just a mock up. Thanks for contributing your time!
The image can be uploaded on the wiki. The design is going to be used on the webpage, the forums, the wiki and so on. So we need a generic design, we’ll make a less generic front page afterwards.
Thanks again!

For those that (like me) were looking for the new release on 1/1, here’s the scoop: you can apparently upgrade from previous versions now, but the LiveCD won’t be available until the 5th.
The wiki isn’t working for me but here’s the Google cache:

Is there a delay in the release of Ubuntu EEE 8.10? I can’t find it here.
Tried to comment on name issue page, but could not find link ti click. Name first, then logo? Ubuntu for eee (and other notebooks), make it shorter: “U b fr eee”. For the less imaginative: You(‘ll) be free!
@Jon:
please reply to my email! :D
However, update here would be nice ;) It’s somewhat frustrating when things become announced only on one of the many different places: wiki, forum, blog, twitter…
Forget about it. Just saw the forum posts and wiki anounce.
sorry!
